The pair looked delighted after attending the debut of Wes Anderson’s latest flick, featuring Scarlett Johansson.
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were seen having a great time during their recent date night. The happily married couple were spotted leaving the afterparty for the Asteroid City premiere in New York City on Tuesday with big smiles on their faces. Scarlett looked stunning in a summery polka dot floral mini dress by Rodarte, perfectly paired with her blonde retro waves and black peep-toe heels. She accessorized with a selection of embellished rings and a pop of red nail polish. Colin, meanwhile, looked dapper in his outfit. It’s clear that these two are still head over heels for each other!
Jost showed up looking fashionable in a burgundy suit and gray T-shirt to support his wife, who played Midge Campbell in Wes Anderson’s latest movie that premiered on June 19. The star-studded film also featured A-list actors such as Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, Maya Hawke, Matt Dillon, Fisher Stevens, and Steve Carell. Earlier in the evening, Johansson appeared more angelic wearing a white Carolin Herrera ruched halterneck gown on the red carpet, adorned with a big corsage, a dropped waist, and a long, flowy hemline.
In the previous month, Johansson and Jost were seen showing affection towards each other as they attended the world premiere of Asteroid City at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The couple had tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2020, following their engagement in May 2019. They recently welcomed a baby boy in August 2021. During an interview on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast in May, Johansson discussed her marriage and the valuable lessons she has learned from her relationship with the Saturday Night Live personality.
She admitted that she used to be clueless about her wants and needs in a relationship. It never occurred to her how vital it is to be with someone empathetic. She now believes that recognizing these essential qualities in a partner is crucial for a lasting relationship. This realization changed her outlook on relationships.
